Help Save Our Environment!

We can make our own little contributions to save our planet for our children’s children. Conserving our planet is a common responsibility. You and I are both responsible for cleaning our planet.  Sadly many people have become irresponsible failing to clean up after themselves. But it’s not too late. We can still make changes for a better Earth. Here are a few tips that we can do to help save our planet.

Tips To Help Save Our Planet

  • Work with Go-green projects. If you are going through some major renovations, work with companies who advocate the cause.

“We’re working with Build It Green! [a New York City–based non-profit retail outlet for salvaged and surplus building materials] to use recycled, repurposed products. All our lockers, fixtures and lighting will be coming from there,” — Cynthia King of Cynthia King Dance Studio in Brooklyn, New York

  • Recycling and reducing waste materials. Quite a few people are highlighting environmentally friendly campaigns on recycling in order to reduce waste products that are filling our water and land. Use recycled materials whenever we can.
  • Clean up. We don’t want a dirty environment. So start cleaning up using the best vacuum for long hair (to clean up pets with long hair) or just a standard vacuum to clean your home. Discard of trash properly so that it doesn’t contaminate and cause infection.
  • Install energy-efficient devices. There are many ways to do this. An example is to upgrade our home cooling and heating system. This can also improve air quality indoors and result in better health. Convert your present lighting into LED bulbs, install room lighting switches that cut back energy use and costs.

“The typical closed facility could be a propagation floor for bacteria and air-borne infection as a result of inadequate air purification and venting solutions, it could possibly lead to health issues, from colds to the flu virus. And also bad interior quality of air can cause awful stinks and scents.”

  • Consider a renovation. A renovation can help reduce energy usage and improve indoor air quality. It also helps you save substantial money.
  • Use as many natural sunlight as possible. Renovations can include installation of big windows, skylights, and solar tubes to improve natural lighting. Solar tubes are more affordable than skylights or changing your windows as it doesn’t require renovation.
  • Raise environmental awareness. Spread the word. Join campaigns. Changes can start within your circle of friends. From one group, it spreads to the other, and this type of information campaign can help raise awareness.
